So we're going in late April for the Star Wars Half marathon and staying the week. For financial reasons Im not sure we will be able to swing staying the whole week on property, although Im hopping we can. I'd like to book the whole week on property room only right now (we have APs) so that we can make our 180+10 ADRs and 60 day FP+… but if I call and amend the stay to only like 3 or 4 nights (we would stay the remainder at my parent's condo in Kissimmee), what happens to the ADRs and FP+ I made for those remaining nights? Do they disappear? Im having a hard time wrapping my mind around this one, bc while the on site stay would have gotten me early access to them, its not like FP or ADRs themselves are an onsite-only perk… so they shouldn't really be connected to the stay (once we are inside 30 days at least). I don't want to go through the stress of the early morning reservation battle just to have the last 3 or 4 days worth of ADRs and FPs all cancelled on us. Anyone know? Thanks.

I got an answer to my own question from Disney. Here's the answer for those interested. Nothing happens to the ADRs, they are standalone not linked to anything. Nothing happens to FP+ they are linked to ticket media not resort stay.

Just keep in mind if you booked with some type of discount Disney no longer allows guests to modify reservations and just drop unwanted days. Instead you must cancel and rebook subject to current availability. There have been a lot of complaints on the boards since this policy went into effect a few months back. So if/when you call to change the reservation you could possibly lose any discount (if you had one) or discover your stay is subject to a minimum # of nights.
