Cancellation question

We have a resort reservation for November and I already made my ADR's. We are thinking of renting DVC points instead and I'm wondering if I cancel my resort reservation, will it cancel my ADR's as well?!?!?!

well if you made your reservations using your reservation confirmation number it will cancel.

if you made your reservation using your phone number - you should be fine.

Hmmm, well, I did them online and in order to get 180+10 I had to put in my resort reservation number (and telephone number).

How about if I just postpone the trip? Taking another in 2013 with my daughter, wonder if that would save them?

Your ADRs will be fine and will not be cancelled if you cancel your resort reservation. Your resort confirmation number is only needed to verify that you are staying at a Disney resort if you want to take advantage of the 180 + 10 rule for ADRs .
