What is the current cancellation policy for animal kingdom? We have a cruise scheduled for September and are looking to move it to the last week of August. But we realize if we do that the cruise might be cancelled. Just wondering if we will be able to cancel or move the animal kingdom res

Currently, for August package reservations, cancellations prior to 30 days will be issued a full refund. Package cancellations made within 30 days will be subject to a $200 penalty (you can always reschedule to avoid the penalty but may be subject to a $50 change fee if the new reservation is less than the original one). Room-only reservations can be canceled up to 5 days prior to check-in for a full refund. I emphasize the word "currently" as they made some cancellation modifications for resort check-ins up to June 30, but we have no idea if those modifications will be extended.

The penalty to outright cancel is the forfeiture of the deposit. You can change dates, however, without any penalty.

I think online bookings of room only reservations need to be canceled 6 days in advance.

Correct a RO booking has a 5 day cancellation policy and after that you will owe 1 night room charges.
