Cancellation policies? Getawaytoday vs. disneyland.com

We are about to book a package for a 5 night stay at GCH in DLR. Is there any benefit obtained from booking from disneyland.com vs. getawaytoday? They are both the same price ($4 difference). Getawaytoday throws in some small things (slingbags for the kids and two pins and lanyards - nothing we care one way or the other about). Disneyland.com offers the Mickeys Towntown Madness and character call (once again nothing we cannot live without).

Does anyone know the cancellation policies of the two places? I think I read on here somewhere that booking hotel and tickets separately is BETTER for cancellations? (Not that we plan to cancel - but in case something happened, etc...)

Disney PACKAGES have a cancellation fee (or a change fee) that will depend on how far in advance you cancel/change your reservation. You have to pay in full 30 days prior to your arrival, but can make payments without a fee.

Disney ROOM ONLY reservations you put down the first night room charge plus tax (you can pay more if you wish) and the balance is due at check in. But you can cancel and get a full refund 5 days prior to your trip. If you change your reservation they won't charge you a fee.

Getawaytoday.com I believe you can pay a small fee when you purchase you package that will cover any changes or cancellations. You either pay the full amount at the time you book or you can make payments for a fee.

Booking through disney gets you the pins and lanyards, too. Though I think GAT actually sends you pins/lanyards, while disney sends you vouchers so you can pick them up. (not any pin or lanyard, but ones with the WDTC brand on them...you'll see the lanyards of various travel companies all with logos and different colors...the lanyard with GAT is the same kind of thing)
