Cancellation of reservation policy

Using Mydisneyexpericne.com, I made reservations at a World Showcase restaurant for Sunday night. Due to various circumstances, I may have to cancel, but the only info. I can get about when I can do it is Disney saying that each restaurant has its own policy. Fair enough, but I cannot find those policies anywhere. Can any one help?

Minimum is 24 hours, AKA midnight of prior day

Dinner shows, and other events may have a longer cancel policy

To be clear, the cancellation policy is "the day before," not 24-hours. Midnight of prior day is accurate.

Only special events, and maybe a few random exceptions, are different. Everything in the World Showcase should be covered by the "day before" policy
