FWIW, as I understand the rule, as long as one person shows up to 'honor the reservation', no fee is applied.
Further, the person who shows up at the podium is not required to eat, they may leave.
Lastly, there is a 'trick' frequently posted here at DisBoards and this is the type of Thread where it's shared. If nobody can show up - reschedule (Modify) the reservation to another day and then cancel it.
I do it all the time. Solo, but I always make reservations for two, just in case I run into someone I know. But mealtime comes and I'm still solo. In the MANY times I've done it, never been charged.
Thank you all! Not trying to hoard seats but wondered about an older kid or two skipping out on a reservation. I doubt that will happen because then they'd have to find and buy their own food
Will they seat us if some of our party are late? I can't recall.
