Cancellation Cover Amount

So i think i have found the perfect travel insurance.
With Protectyourbubble.com
But im unsure as to how much Cancellation and curtailment cover we need?
What do you guys go for?
The options i have are £1,500 or £3,000. This is a DIY holiday so everything has been booked seperatly. Its £10 extra for the £3000 cover.

Hi there,
I found the travel insurance a minefield!
I looked at Protectyourbubble but they get terrible reviews when it comes to paying out. Have got no personal experience of them though so you could take reviews with a pinch of salt. Great price though so definitely worth considering. The cancellation is per person so if your holiday cost 3000 and there is two of you 1500 each would be fine. Try to work it out on that basis taking into consideration everything you have paid. I ended up going for 1500 as there is 4 of us and the holiday cost about 5500 in total so that would cover all costs.
