Cancellation and placeholder credit

Been trying to watch all the various threads discussing the credit but haven't seen this specifically addressed.

If your sailing is cancelled and you end up with a 125% credit, and you just happen to have a spare OBB slot available (NOT already used), can you combine the 10% placeholder discount with the 125% credit? I haven't been able to discover whether you can stack or not.

Anyone been down this road already?

Yes, I was told by DCL today that this is possible.

i did it on Wednesday with the latest cancelations-
OH MY- what a blessing!
we scored a longer cruise and better room, and still have a ton of funds leftover for onboard use!
