A friend had all her plans in place for her first on-site trip and now is thinking of switching back to off-site. I know your ADRs used to remain intact if you cancelled a resort stay, but is that still true?

Yes.

ADRs are not tied to a resort stay. Anyone can make an ADR even if traveling there for the day :)

I wasn't sure if it mattered if they were made when she had a resort stay booked or not. It seems like they could be linked somehow since that's how we get to make 180+10.

Is she past the 180+10 mark? I would probably wait until after that just to be sure.

Yes -- going this summer. Why would you wait?

Because it is really 180 + length of stay (up to 10 days). I don't know if they would cancel any restaurant reservations that were over 180 days if you cancel the resort reservation, but I can see how they might.

They won't.
