Canceling online check-in

if you did the online check in for a resort before your arrival, is it possible to undo that? I’m thinking the answer is no, but wanted to check and see if anyone had ever been able to do that.

I believe you can update it, but not cancel. Is there a reason you would want to?

Are you wanting to cancel your reservation? I would think that when you cancel, it would void the online check in. Technically you aren’t checked in by the computer until your arrival date when they test your credit card (I always get an email early on check in day that a card not present transaction was run). But I don’t think you can undo it and leave the reservation on the books.

There isn't a way to undo it that I know of.

You're not doing anything irrevocable when you do online check-in. It doesn't commit you to the reservation, assign you to a room, or initiate any charges. It's just a convenience; a way to enter a credit card number and a generic request if you choose to.

If you cancel your reservation, when the reservation is removed from the system the online check-in goes with it.
