Canceling ONE person's flight on a SWA confirmation

DH and I have a trip to WDW planned, which we're still going to take. However, instead of coming home, I'm going to fly to DS's soccer tournament in another state.

Can I cancel just my flight from the Confirmation, and use my credit to book other flights? Or just CHANGE my flights on the same confirmation without changing his? The prices have gone up, so I don't want to re-book his flights.

I had to do that one time and I called SW and they took care of it over the phone.

Thanks. Yeah, I just spent over an hour on the phone with "Tiffany" at SWA. It was not pleasant. It also involved SWA credits and fluctuating prices and the cost of her booking vs me booking it. We're all set now, but about $60 further in the hole due to SWA's computer system. Ugh. Just glad it's over and done with, and my DS better win that soccer tournament.

UGH--sounds like a drag, but I'm glad you got booked to where you need to be.

We're just now getting bits and pieces of DS's soccer schedule for this spring. So far all we know for sure is that we'll be in NY state for Memorial Day. And we have dates for early spring games, but no times. There is one more tournament to come, but they've not yet told us where that one is.....

This is one of the reasons that I always book everyone on their own confirmation number. I had this similar situation once and it was a nightmare. It does make it a little more difficult to do the online checking, but I would rather have that, than the extra fees I may have from cancelling, rebooking a member of my travel party.
