Canceling lightning lane res for one in group

If someone in your group chickens out before your arrival time are you able to cancel just that one person or do you have to cancel the entire group? I don’t want to leave a lightning lane unused as it will mean that person won’t be able to reserve another until the end of the return window and thus delaying all of us for the next available.

If you are talking about ILLS, I don't think they can be cancelled or modified at all once they are made. You'd have to talk to somebody at one of the guest service tents. A genie plus selection can be changed sometimes but I have not used it, so I don't know under what circumstances. They have to be cancelled before the window opens

Yes for the Genie+ I realize it needs to be before the window but was curious if you can cancel it for just one person in the group and leave the other folks in place.

I’m guessing they’d rather go do something else at that point. Just want to know the options and restrictions

I did this and the person became out of sync w the group because the next opportunity to book their G+ became 2 hours from time of cancellation. Not sure if there’s a workaround. Will let others chime in.

Have the riders take the non-rider MB with them & scan it so everyone is on the same time? Non-rider can go do what they want rather than wait in line?

You can cancel individual people from the reservation. I had to do this when someone else booked me into a ride
