Canceling a Cruise

DW and I have had some expenses come up that are going to preclude us from going on our 11/26/05 cruise. We booked through DU. Should I call them to cancel, or call DCL directly?

If your reservation is thru DU.... call them and let them know.

Yeah, I think I'd call/email my TA first and let them know about the cancel and if anything else is needed they can tell you, but I'm sure they can take care of everything.

Sorry to hear about the expenses...maybe next time around. At least you are being responsible and know your limits!

If you book thru a TA (or transfer the ressie to a TA), you must cancel thru the TA.

Sorry you can't go...maybe next year!

if you booked thru DU or transferred the booking to DU you have to cancel through them. DCL won't accept the cancellation from you.

Thanks for the help folks! That is what I thought, but I wanted to double check.

The good news about this is the fact that it means we will probably get to do the just announced 10 day on 9/7/06.
