Cancel Unnecessary ME?

We decided to fly in a day early and booked a RO at POR before our package. I added ME info to the RO reservation, but I also added ME info to our original package dates. Should I cancel ME for the original arrival date? My hesitation, knowing Disney CM's, is that I'll cancel the original arrival date and they will inadvertently cancel the departing ME reservation as well. I would rather not have to make multiple calls to get it corrected.
Is there any harm in leaving it as is? Should I just call and cancel the original date? WWYD? Thanks!

Just leave things the way they are. No need to call and cancel the original booking. I would call them (DME) a few weeks prior to travel though, and make sure they have your 'new' arrival date in the system...just to be sure.

In all cases you need to receive, inspect, and correct as needed your confirmation for Magical Express back to the airport on the morning of the day before the day you leave.

(If you did make your reservation earlier then you don't "need" to pay attention to it or make any calls before the abovementioned "deadline".)
