Canadians purchasing Disney Cricut through Ebay

I posted on Cnd forum but wondered if any Canadian's have ever received these. I read on Cricut forum that these Disney Carts are not to be shipped Internationally and Ebay BUYERS will get fined by Customs? Something to do with Disney copyright??

It's true, as I understand it. They're only licensed to the US. You'd need a friend in the states to buy one for you and ship it to you, which is what some people are doing.

They sell them in Canada, so i was surprised. I am thinking maybe it only applied overseas?

I thought they were ONLY licensed for the US and Canada - anywhere else has to have someone buy it for them.

I have a friend who lives in the UK and his wife wants Mickey & Friends and asked me to pick it up for them

Perhaps there's extra tax or something in Canada which Disney won't get if you get them from e-bay

You'd think with their plan for global domination they'd want to sell their stuff as far as possible

I am happy to report i received both Mickey & Friends, and Fonts, today, with no problems

Now, if only my machine would get here i can start playing...
