We are trying to get everything sorted for July. Wondering what phone plans, sim cards people have used. I know about the roam from home option,,,but wondering about others. Is there any that I can keep my own number to make and receive calls but still have data?

If you want to keep your own number, I’m pretty sure the only option is to use your Carriers roam like home. Ours costs 9 dollars per day and when we went, I just put my phone on airplane mode and tethered to my wife’s phone to avoid paying the charge for both our devices.

It was very convenient. I’ve used the SIM cards in the past and they were quite easy, but I don’t have any familiarity with them recently. The one I previously used no longer seems to exist.
