Canadians can no longer pre-order magic bands???

Heard from a few friends that Disney is sticking it to Canadians once again. As of today we can no longer pre-order magic bands at preferential pricing to be ready for us at the resorts. Of course, we can pay the full price on-site when you get there. But you can no longer access the magic bands ordering page. Stitch appears and clearly states that we cannot order any longer.

I saw that a few days ago. Personally I am putting off purchasing one because I am hoping the Magicband+ is released before our September trip. When I first booked the trip, there were almost twice as many bands available for pre purchase (by Americans only apparently) as there r now. I am hoping this is because the release is very close!! Hoping that limiting pre purchase to Americans is also because stock is being reduced in anticipation of the Magicband+. Hoping Canadians will be back on the pre arrival price point when that happens.

MagicBand+ is not replacing MagicBand 2. The two products will coexist at different price points.

The limited availability is driven by broader supply chain issues.

It's not just the lack of availability. It's the fact that unless you live in the US, you can no longer access the page on their website to choose your magic bands. Stitch pops up and says you can no longer pre-order from your country of residence.

This must be a new change. We are going next month and I ordered ours in about October for pick up at the resort and all was fine. They do show on MDE so I assume they will be there when we get there. What a strange change to make.

Damn I dint know I could order for resort pickup so long in advance. The selection is awful now. Missed the boat as allways !

It’s been like this for us brits for a while. Use a VPN to order and get it sent to your hotel.

I ordered mine last week, no problems. I tuess it was good that I did (I felt silly doing it so early when our trip is in November).

I think it must have been a temporay glitch in the sytem as I tired to acees it from Canada on March 30 after reading the original post and couldn't access it howI was able to this eving Alos when I looked there was a very limited selection of them.

That's the same as the UK we can't get them, but we use VPN and then pick them up when they arrive.
