i am wondering about what i may expect when I have to eventually take the documents for notarizing when i sell thru resale market.. .. did u pay lawyer type fees? any suggestions?anything i need to know? in MB.

As far as I know you don’t need to pay any lawyer fees only commission to the broker.

As a foreign owner (like me) you need to pay the 15% firpta tax upon closing.

You only need to pay the 15% on your earnings but the tax is withheld until you document your earnings/loss

You can take it to a notary here and they charge quite a bit per document signed. Or if you are close to a us border, go to a notary there and have them sign for something cheap like $5 per doc.
