We are currently booked on the Magic Nov. 11 out of New York. I noticed in the past they often offer a discount to Canadians for these sailings after the Paid in Full Date. I'm currently Booked in an Oceanview but I am not picky on the cabin style or location. Should I cancel my booking and hold out for the possible discount ? Or do I risk paying a lot more ?

They probably only offer discounts after PIF if they aren't getting the kind of capacity they want. I wouldn't assume that there will be an offer. If there isn't one, the price will most likely be significantly higher than when you booked.

Why not just keep your booking until much closer to your PIF, then look at the dollar and what other promos Disney seems to be doing and make your decision then. You have nothing to lose.

Do you absolutely wanna sail with DCL? Because you could cancel, wait, and look for a back up plan (or two) in case it doesn't work. Then, if DCL offers a good deal, you take it. If they don't, you have a plan B.

Is this one of the Marvel cruises? I know with SWDAS, that influenced booking. Not sure if the Marvel cruises are doing the same thing.

I wouldn't count on a discount. In the time that you wait for a discount to be released the price of the cruise will probably go up negating any potential savings.
