Canadian renting DVC points?

Hi everyone!

I need some help. I want to rent DVC points for the last week of May. Can anyone give me some advice? I'm new to this.

I would love enough points for a 3 night (Check in May 26-check out May 29) at AKL studio. I think thats 27 points.

I know this is the Canadian board and not the DVC...I'd love to rent from a fellow Canadian.

Is there even any availability this late for May 26 to 29? If it's not booked by now, I'd be surprised if you can get this date for AKL.

Although we own DVC, we never have enough points. I can send you my contact from whom I've purchased points from before. Very nice person and great transaction. Just PM me for the contact if you're interested.

I think you're out of luck. It's too soon. My advice is to try the rental board and try to find someone that has points they are offering, also don't be too picky about where you want to stay.

We're also looking to rent points for AKV but for March 2010 and would like to rent from a Canadian DVCer if possible. If any Cdns on this forum rent points please PM me!

Hi I don't have points, but I just finished a transaction. Four nights AKV Jumbo house Savanna View studio, Dec 7-11, I wanted the 6th... but there was no availability at either Animal Kingdom sites. The cost for the 4 nights was $484 US.
I went over the river to the post office and bought a US money order and sent it to New Jersey, where they live. I received a Confirmation from Disney in my name. (It was forwarded from the person I rented from but it was very official looking).
We are staying 8 nights at the Beach Club using a 40% off code. We are going to try renting; if we like it we will do it the whole vacation next year.
