Canadian Prepaid MC to use in DLR

Hi All! Our countdown is close! We leave on Sunday and we're all really excited.

I have some funds on the prepaid card, but of course, it's in Canadian. If I use it at Disneyland to buy gift cards for us to use in the park, how does the exchange thing work? Anyone know?

I believe the exchange is the same as a regular MC. I used one at WDW a couple of years ago and had to keep track of the remaining limit because WDW system doesn't know what the balance is. If you try to purchase something that, with exchange, is more than the remaining limit on the MC it will be denied. I had that happen and the CM asked me what amount (in US$) to run through and it worked. She said if the card is in a foreign currency I'd need to tell them the amount to charge to the card since it's not like a gift card.

I figured as much. I had to calculate pretty quickly today but we finally got our cards all worked out.
