Canadian pre-paid card in Disney?

Does anyone know if a pre-paid credit card (Visa, AMEX, etc) bought in Canada will work in the US?

I feel this is a bit of a stupid question because any Canadian credit card (that I know of) can be used in the US, so I feel it should work the same way XD

I just want to make extra sure though - we're taking a group of friends on our next trip, but we're not doing the dining plan. Instead we're just giving everyone a 350$ food budget, which should be more than enough XD If they go over they'll cover the rest themselves, and then we'll ask that they give us back whatever is left over. I'm not much in the idea of doing cash, and I have no way of buying a Disney gift card from here (besides, I'm not used to paying a tax on gift cards cause they don't do that in Quebec and it makes no sense to me, so I don't want to get one from the US)

My thinking was to put the money on respective pre-paid AMEX or Visa cards, but I don't want to shell out over 3000$ worth of pre-paid cards and then have it not work XD

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
