I agree judging is always a problem. I didn't notice the low score from the US judge. However, putting both runs side by side, I thought the American had a better run.

Well I did say to myself I rather have her not win the gold by falling or something, because then there would always be that what if question and it's great she did win Canada's 1st medal, even if it's silver.

Seeing some of the other front runners fall, and fall out of contention (including the Canadian) was heartbreaking. Though in Jen's mind maybe that would have been better ... I'm sure she was heartbroken. Always in judged events there's that nagging "what if ...". It must be so hard for the athletes.

The Canadian in the biathalon did well today & they say he is well placed for 'pursuit' - not that I have a clue about the sport!

Bilodeau's win was exciting and Kristina Groves got the bronze by .03 seconds.

Very nice to see a number in the gold medal column.

My heart was pounding! Poor guy...first pretty much the whole way then right at the end. Still...silver is great!
