Kalan Porter seems to be the runaway winner. Your thoughts?

I think Kalan's fantastic.

I can't for the life of me figure out why some of the contests are on there though. To me they sound terrible, but each week the judges rave about them.

But what do I know. I only worked as a concert manager for 10 years.

There are a couple of contestants on there that I can't understand either. Loved Kalan last night as well as the guy who did the David Bowie song though.

So, it is down to the final three. My vote still goes to Kalan. His version of Nature Boy was breathtaking!

Any predictions for tonight's show? I think Theresa will go although I would like to see Jacob go.

Kalen might be cute as a button, but to me he has zero personality.

Maybe it's just me, but either the judges, or me, or Kalen was tone-deaf through his first song last night. I was stunned by the comments praising his stage movements (my grandfather has better rhythm) and the way he "captured" the essence of U2. Huh? He must have slipped them 20 bucks each ........

And I see the opposite. I see Jacob with no voice and no range whatsoever, whining and panting through every song and jumping around like he is obsessed. I see every performance as an act. He is a one trick pony.

I see Kalan as the real deal, singing through his soul. He has never, ever been off-key or tone and is capable of singing anything and making it sound great.

Jacob has also admitted that he doesn't want to be Canadian Idol since he sees no future in it. He has just been using it to get recognition for his band Hedley. The judges were pretty ticked off at him last night for using the competition and denying others who might have really wanted the title.

I think Kalan is great but I agree with you Toad. I love U2 and that song but I didn't think he was in the same league when he sang it. I think he is a shoe in to win though.

I have to admit that Jacob has really grown on me in the last few weeks...I find myself looking forward to watching him. But I'll cheer for any of the remaining 3, they are all very good.

I'll concede that Kalen's Nature Boy was very good. And I also think that he will probably win - not becasue he is the best, but becasue he is the cutest - and those shows don't play to old bags like me but to a younger audience who vote with their hearts and eyes. Actually - I think Jacob has a "difference" about him that appeals to me. But really, the best voice????? Theresa, hands down.

Another vote for Jacob here, although I think that both he and Kalan will end up with record deals. I sure hope that they make it big world wide.

Kalan. I like Theresa, but her voice needs some more training still.

Jacob is all flash. His voice has specific applications, and outside of those it's thin. He'll probably get a record contract out of it because he is a good showman, but there's a difference between being a good showman and being a good singer.

I predict 1 record from it, and then he'll be forgotten.

It is a tough pick between the two finalists. I really them both, but lean a bit more towards Theresa.

Too bad, I thought Jacob would have been a natural for World Idol, where it's all about showmanship and not cute or talent.
