Canadian DVCers -- Where are you from?

This is just a fun little poll... My wager is the vast majority will be from Ontario

Us BCers can only hope that DVC will be allowed to sell here one day instead of us having to travel to deal directly with DVC to purchase, etc... Maybe with the new villas in California and Hawaii opening soon we may have some hope in that happening...

Here's another British Columbian. It sure would be nice to speak to Disney directly from home as I'm looking into some VGC points and there's no price advantage to buying resale there yet. Luckily I'm off to Disneyland in 1 week so I can have that talk in person.

Resale worked quite well for my original purchase though. Just takes a little longer.

I know there are more Disney lovers here then just my family!!

What I want to know and no one ever seems to answer is what does everyone buy when they are away and where do you display it?

We are known as the Disney house because we have so much Disney stuff and I actually try to keep it to a minimum.

I know what you mean. When we first purchased into the membership, we were living in Ontario. Then we moved East and now my guide can't even give me any info over the phone. But he does always leave a message or call when we go to Disney - just to remind us that he's there if we need him.

Alberta has allowed DVC to market and sell there I believe.... come on BC!! If nothing else it would be good to get emails on incentives, etc to add on ROFL

I have had my guide call me once to answer a question but beyond that nadda (as expected with our BC laws)....Do guides get reports when their clients are at WDW? Or did you tell him/her you were going?

Do guides get reports when their clients are at WDW? Or did you tell him/her you were going?

My guide just knows when we are there. It's magical! Actually, I'm sure they get reports or he just looks it up. I have never told him when we visit.

I do think that it's something that he chooses to do because my previous guide never used to do it.

We love that too and it's so much cheaper than flying out of Toronto!!

You can do better than that now. SW has a 6:30am departure. We landed at 9:04 and were on the road by 9:30am.

I am jealous of all you Ontarioites with your short flights but.... alas I love my west coast too much to leave just for shorter flights to WDW

We bought in 2000 and have never looked back! Thank God, we have to buy in Florida- because I would be a lot poorer, if we were allowed buy add ons from Quebec.
