Anyone done Welcome Home Wednesdays at Boardwalk?
Was it worthwhile going?

I've never done any of the DVC meetings. I've heard they can be fun and they give away some prizes but it's also a push for add-ons.

We went last year to one, because we were staying at BC.

It was kind of fun -- they have like a game show thing that they do. There's drinks and snacks. We got some free hats, but ended up getting more on our cruise as well -- our DVC guide just happened to be working on the same cruise...

If you haven't gone, then try it out...it's not like you have to stay for the whole thing -- I think we ended up leaving early because we had a dinner reservation.

We went in the Fall. They had a "game show" and drinks (lemonade?) and snacks (Cracker Jacks). They did give out some free stuff, everyone got the drawstring "Backpacks" and some hats..... the usual.... if you don't already have a collection of that stuff then it is worth going.
Personally..... we have tons of duplicates so until they get a new line, we won't be in a hurry to go back.
It was fun to talk to other DVC's (not just the ones from our home resort) and you can get info about some of the other resorts (HHI, VB, etc)
