I couldn't believe this.

My airfare to Orlando from Portland, Maine was 178.10 US. The charge to my Canadian credit card was 177.82$ It was actually LESS..

Room deposit : 77.97 US / 77.84 Canadian.

This is the first time in my entire life.. I've ever seen this. It's so bizarre.. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that when I see a souvenir or item in a gift shop I don't have to add 10 to 30% to the price..

We rented a car through National a couple days ago for our upcoming trip to Disneyland. The cost was 84.78US or 82.98cad. My eyes darn near fell out of my head. Shopping on ebay.ca is a thrill right now!:goodvibes

Just returned from a 15 day road trip a couple of days ago. I had a $150CDN gift card for the Best Western, and received $153.56US when I used it to check out :cool1: :cool1:, that was on the 19th. When I checked my bank records when I took $400US cash out it converted to $397 CDN, with a $2 service charge.

Our final payment showed up on my cc account today ... while we couldn't apply an "official" wdw discount code, with the bank fees we only had to pay 98% of the USD price! It's like being paid to go to Disney!! (I'm calling it the "Special Canadian Discount Code!"

Just exchanged enough for our DFTW this morning and saved $1570!!! Our guests are blown away that they can vacay with us cheap in Disney! Feeling truly blessed.

When we pay off our DVC it looks like we've saved about $1500 since purchasing.:thumbsup2

The exchange rate is expected to get to 1.12 IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT!!! Not so great for our manufacturing sector, but great for us travellers!

we are doing a Disney Cruise at the beginning of January. This is most awsome!! I bought $200 USD, gave the teller $200 CDN and actually received change back........YAHOO!!
now if we can get the cost of fuel in the US down.....am I asking too much?? :rotfl2:

Rates just have to stay around where they are now for three more weeks. We owe 3037.12 for our trip right now (at posted rates not market rates) it's going to cost 2862.00. I'm doing a huge happy dance.
