Canadian Codes?

Yup, it's there ... it's on the back page of the Globe's travel section. It's a full page ad so you can't miss it ;)

Sorry, I forgot to post the details (duh!)

The code is BBE, you have to book a minimum of 3 nights (It doesn't say anything about it being for Canadians only). There are blackout dates for 10/17-10/20; 11/10-11/13; 11/23-11/27 and you must book by October 10th.

Select value resorts from $55 US/night most nights Oct 31-Dec 25 and $74 US/night from Sept 30-Oct 30.

HTH :p

I don't have that paper around - is it for values only? Is the final date Dec 25th? We are travelling in Feb and staying AKL and I am always on the lookout for codes! :)

Yup just until the 25th ... The ad also says that "great rates rae also available at Disney moderate and deluxe resort hotels".

Hopefully Disney will release rates for Feb :) You can check Mousesavers to see if they have released codes in the past for your travel dates.

Code is on mousesavers-same as BAT-I think it's their way of keeping track of cdn bookings.

I've been assuming that they have a certain number of rooms set aside for different promotions, even if the pricing is the same. In other words, if you are Canadian and were unsuccessful booking using BAT because the rooms allocated for that rate at a particular resort had already sold out, you might be able to get it using BBE and vice versa.

Does anyone know if this is correct?

My dad booked two rooms at pop for Oct using BBE last night...didn't even bother to try BAT.
But yah-I was thinking to if they ran out of rooms for BAT that perhaps they would have some set aside for BBE.

Presently I have a Dream maker package (7 for the price of 5) If I call WDTC will they recalculate the price with the new code. If it is cheaper would they cancel the original booking and credit back the full deposit and bill the full amount of the new code or will they just credit back the difference. Or do I need to calculate the price to see if it is a price saver.

Just phone and find out!

They will calculate everything but the only problem is the credit can take up to 2 billing dates to get thru!

There are three codes out ~ BBE-Cdn, BAS- AP, BAT-General And these are room only codes.

I managed to get the BAT for our one night at the GF at Christmas.

Good Luck

We also have 5 + 2 with a couple of extra days-It's pretty easy to get an idea of your savings- with the 5+2 - you are getting 2 free nights at rack rate-with the package code you are getting a discount on the room only portion.

Never hurts to ask-we got our discount on the room only nights -not on our package nights the 5+2 was a better deal.
They credited the difference to our room-so we will have the extra to spend in the parks. If they credited our card it would take 4-6 weeks (up to two billing cycles).

I just called and used BAT code for our November trip. He confirmed my address as a Canadian one so I don't think it is restricted.

I was not able to get a reduced rate for our first two nights at WL on 11/13 and 11/14, but did get it for the remaining 5 nights.

I was already booked at the full rate for the 7 nights, so he cancelled nights 3-7 and then re-booked at the better rate. Total savings for us is $446.15 US.

I did ask about BBE and he said it was for the value resort rates.

Good Luck!!
