So disappointed in RBC & Aviva
Because I still need to drive once every two weeks.....a big $9.00 discount per month!!
Hardly worth my time to call them.

Is that just March/April or for a whole year? I haven't heard back from my company, not sure it's worth it to call them.

That is a $9 dollar discount each month off the total monthly payment I make,,,they said they are offering it till Dec 2020.
The only real way to get a half decent discount is to suspend your driving completely and get a higher discount.
They offered nothing for March or April as those payments already came out of the bank,,,this is going forward to my May payment....it will be 9 dollars cheaper.

I guess some is better than none.
15% is what the Aviva website suggests should be $19.20 per month discount for me,,so they are not offering what their web page states.

I called my broker last Thursday and at time there was no discount being offered. Think I'll give it another week and try again.

Oh I get this!! At the rate I'm going I will have bought gas in March and not need more until May or possibly even June! Bought gas March 19th and still have 3/4 of a tank left! Today was payday and for the first time ever I budgeted $0 for gas over the next two weeks. That money went to food....and puzzles.

So sad that gas hasn't been so cheap in years, yet we can't take advantage of it because there is nowhere we can go!

I just bought a bunch of Disney puzzles as well. We have a bunch of completed Disney puzzles hanging on the wall in the basement and we are running out of room to put the new ones.

Belair super easy. If one car can be done online with couple of questions. We have 2 im still working so no reduction. But wifes is 40bucks per month off. Ill take it.
My tire guybisnt letting anyone out of car. Have tires in trunk. All touchless then he will call you from office and get cc details. I fully understand for him..

Def call your broker and ask. Some brokers being proactive and supporting their clients. CAA has given 10% now and another 10% if you renew with them next year. Poor showing so far by Ontario's car insurance industry. As always, consumers will have to push hard.

I'm on hold now with mine. I doubt I will get much if any as I don't have to drive far each day. It's a worth an ask I guess.

I have a discount! My monthly payment will drop from $120/month to $96/. I'll take it! I just have to remember to call them back after I go back to work to change it back.

I don't know, I seem to be the winner here... My rate has gone from $95.17 a month to $92.39. Not even $3 a month lmao... guess that's why it took them two days to get back to me? Sigh...
