Canadas Wonderland

Canada's Paramount Wonderland has been sold!

It's being bought by the same group that owns Sandusky!

This should be interesting!

I bought season passes there this year also. We DID go on Sunday the 21st in the windy cold weather. My kids and I were troopers and could have stayed and kept riding but walking around with DH was worse than having a blister on your foot. He kept whining about the cold. We got there at about 111:00 and left before 4:00. A lot of that time was spent working out our lunch. Since I didn't have the coupons and discount list for Season Pass holders, I went to Guest Services to find out where we had a discount. She game me a couple places, on of which was the Backlot Cafe so we went there, ordered and got our food. When we went to pay for it, I let the cashier know that we are season pass holders and she proceeded to tell me that we do not get a discount there. Gave the food back (while I swatted at DH's hand to stop eating fries that we arent paying for  and went back to Guest Services. She couldn't understand why we were told this and was going to photocopy the sheet with the info on it. Meanwhile, she went to a manager in the back and found out there was some time of misprint. We ended up with 4 $5 meal vouchers. Our $32 dollar lunch ended up costing us $12, which was more than it was worth anyhow.

I am still glad we bought the season passes. No, CWL is not Disney but it is still a fun place to spend the day with or without the kids especially when the Season Pass is more than paid for after 2 visits.

You missed it... I posted that on the previous page...

We went to PCW this past sunday.......what a waste of time!! It was so bad, that halfway thorough the day, my ds (7) asked me to leave. It just wasn't a great experience. My ds (3) was wanting to see Diego and Dora......he did get to see Dora, but Diego wasn't working on Sunday. In fact, they only had 4 characters working on Sunday.

Ok.....enough complaining.........let's just say that we won't be going back anytime soon.

Still dreamin' of DISNEY!!!!

wow I had no idea the park was sold...hopefully the prices will come down too cus honestly its way too expensive, if it wasnt for the Airmiles free tickets I wouldn't go...10bucks for a funnel cake.

:bounce: Oh these Icons are funny!!!! :yay: :smooth:

$5.99 for a plain funnel cake
$6.99 for one with fruit or ice cream
$7.99 for one with fruit with ice cream.

My family of 4 can barely get thru one plain funnel cake ~ there are so big! So it's a bargain!

We only paid $69.99 for a seasons pass ~ that's just about the same cost as ONE day at Disney. Again...bargain!

My family loves Disney...but you can't beat PCW for rides and the water park! S

Wow our family of 5 eats 3 funnell cakes with topping and icecream 1 for the 2 youngest ones 1 for DW and our oldest DD and 1 for me our trip in May cost me more than a day at Disney and the waterpark wasn't even open yet LOL. We will save our money and wait for our yearly Disney trip PCW is just not for us.

Here here...the other person for got to mention that there is 14% tax on top of the 7.99 so that brings it mighty close to 10bucks...but anyway they opened a McDonalds just across the parking lot and guess where we go for lunch? On a Teenagers buget Mickey D's works just the same for us........but ya the rides "kick" at Wonderland, but WDW is just way cooler

:cool1: <--like this guy
