The taxes her tick me...

We were in Italy last Fall..found a great rose sparkling wine. Not too sweet. 2.50 Euros per bottle. Cheap. Went to Epcot..full bottle in Italy there $11.00 ok..creeping up. So - we tried to get it here and the LCBO told me it was coming in for Valentines Day. It came in just after. So off I went...here, half a bottle only for sale, $16.95! What a rip..I bought it anyways..just venting.

The taxes suck...but $17 for a great bottle of wine is still not that bad.

They told me it doesn't come in a full bottle (oh yes it does!) and then they said "well we can't get it"..ugh

Just wait until Dalton's harmonized sales taxes hit... you'll be able to add another 8% to that price.... and on almost everything else.

Living in Ontario is about to get a whole lot more expensive...
