I'm sure I already know where this is going to go, but I'll post it anyway. Hubby and I are planning our ADR's and we want to dine at one country in Epcot. Originally, we'd planned on L'Oringale Alfredo di Roma. But, by the time we get there, it will be closed and the new owners will take over. We don't even know what it will be called at that point.

We thought we'd still plan on eating in Italy anyway. But today, this morning, I was reading a post about Le Cellier just before I talked to hubby and I suggested that maybe we could go there instead. I did mention that we can get really good Italian around here, or when visiting his family...and I'm even learning to make some pretty good Italian myself.

He's mulling it over and we'll talk about it again before the day arrives to make our ADR's, but I thought I'd ask the silliest question ever asked here on the DIS.

Where would you eat? The mystery place in Italy or Le Cellier? And please feel free to elaborate on why you would choose one over the other.

Both are very good and the new owners of the Italian restaurants already have restaurants in Disney property and I'm sure it will be even better than Alfredo's. So I wouldn't let that stop you if your wanting Italian. There are so many wonderful places in Epcot it is always a tough decision on where to dine! Le Cellier is hugely popular and with good reason. Everything is very good! It's a small dark steak eatery with a faboulous selection of breads. Check out the menus on www.allearsnet.com. I know that won't work for Italy but at least you can check out Canada.

I vote for Le Cellier, if you can get a reservation. Cheddar cheese soup, pretzel bread, cream cheese mashed potatoes...etc. I have always had delicious food there.

Alfredo's is just average in my opinion. Not bad, but not great, and a bit expensive.
