Canada cruise out of NYC

That’s exactly why we are looking at it. It’s a 2 hr ride to NYC. We jumped in and booked this morning. I’m very excited. We will plan for colder weather. We have only been on the Dream and Fantasy, so we need to learn about the layout on the Magic. I hope the tender boat in Bar Harbor isn’t intimidating.

Magic is my favorite ship!!! Very easy to navigate!!! you will have no problems.

The piano bar is lovely on Deck 3 and the classics are so much more intimate than the Dream Class.

We did Quebec to NYC in late September/early October of 2018. It was unseasonably cold, and the leaves hadn't changed yet, so there was some disappointment in both of those aspects. We did have a fabulous time anyway - but was very different from a warm weather itinerary. If you are up for an adventure and will be happy just being on a ship, go for it!

we did the tenders on one of our earlier cruises and they aren't a problem In Bar Harbor your fairly protected normally so it should be.. smooth sailing. we can't wait to go. It was the perfect combination of Maine (we've vactioned in Acadia for decades) and the Mouse.. and since we now live in Denver it was easier than driving 3 days just to get to New England.

Definitely have a polar fleece and rain jacket (combination the best). Sweaters for on deck with wind breaker. but we always say -- use layers.

Thanks ! Good to know. We lived in MA for 10 years when my husband was stationed there. We never made it to Acadia. We are really excited about the cruise. Walking on deck 4 is one of our favorite things on the Fantasy, we will bundle up and enjoy it. So glad it’s longer at 6 nights.

We were on this cruise too!!! We rented cars one way up to Quebec and sailed back to NY. Loved it. Quebec was beautiful!!!

We did join the Facebook group- thanks ! Good info on there too — wow 28 Magic cruises !! We have been on the Dream and the Fantasy - so glad deck 4 will let us go all the way around the ship.
The Magic should have all the same evening entertainment like Match your Mate? Do they do a silent disco ?

They should. We were onboard in January and April this year on the Magic out of Miami and they had both Match Your Mate and Silent Disco.
