Canada Attraction?

This rumor is almost confirmed, and has evidence to support it . This Beach club villas aren't reserving epcot views due to "Construction". Could this be the Canada raft ride, or Soar'in, it mostly pionts to the moutian. I've been to the BC with an Epcot view and Soar'in is practiclaly non-existent. I've heard it's due to Soarin'. I haven't heard anything different.

BCV offered Epcot views all during the major portion of Soarin's construction. What's going on now with Soarin is mostly interior work. DVC also stated something to the affect that due to construction, Illuminations views would be non-existant. Soarin' did not block views of Illum, but raising the "mountains" in Canada would. Maybe they are only going to raise the mountains in an effort to block the view of Soarin' from WS, but MAYBE they will add a raft ride - based on Bro Bear - to accomplish this same task. Hopefully.....we get the rafts and not the shafts.

This would be sooo cool. Brother Bear deserves a presence, Epcot NEEDS a wet ride and Canada needs a draw. I really haven't heard much of this though (other than internet wishful thinking). Is there evidence I haven't heard? Would the mountain go where Milennium Village was?

Yes I totally agree,but not with the Brother Bear theming. Something like a water coaster flume ride would be really nice with their own version of a Canadian Mountain and Niagra falls. Epcot is not known for it's thrill intense rides but they need one badly.

I can't see them destroying the Millenium Village building as it is used frequently for events (i.e. Doll and Teddy Bear weekend, September pin event, business dinners, etc.)

I really hope this happens! The World Showcase needs a new attraction and a wet ride would be fabulous. It would fit so nicely with the theming there. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I think WS needs something new. An attraction/new pavillion(Egypt, or somekinnd of desert country). This would definetly be a start. I hope it happens.

It sure would be nice for a new ride in WS. The original plan for WS had A ride in Germany, Italy and Japan.

From long years of hearing these sorts of rumors, ANYTHING new in the World Showcase area is probably in the realm of wishful thinking--
BUt I hasten to add that many of these rumors/ideas would be welcome. Just don't hold your breath.
