We are thinking now of a late ADR at spoodles? I read you could walk, but how long will it take to walk from DHS? My 8 yo is pretty small, will she be able to walk there or will she be too tired. Never been to the boardwalk so Im not sure what its about.

Yes you can walk it will take about 15 to 20 minutes depending on how fast you walk.

We usually always stay at the BC hotel we always walk to DHS instead of taking the boat.

We love Spoodles especially the rigatoni and the Blue Spoodles drink

It's really a bit of a haul. Can't say exactly how far. I remember making the trek on a really warm day, and was ready for a sit down at the end of the journey.

Will it be to late to take the boat?

You can shave a lot of steps by cutting through the pool area, you'll come out near the area where they rent the 4 wheel bikes.

If the parks are still open you can take the Friendship boats, but honesly you could end up waiting in line for a boat longer than it would take to walk.

It's a very easy walk, about 15-20 minutes at a relaxed pace. Bill from PA is right, you'll save time/steps by cutting thru the pool area.

Personaly the walk is too far for me. I would take the boat that is available from DHS to the Boardwalk. It might take longer (I doesn't take longer than I would take to walk) but its far more enjoyable

I would take the boat, it is relaxing and lets you off very close to Spoodles.

The boats are nice if there isn't a long line. Without a young child and assuming it isn't terribly hot, we find it takes just about as much time to walk as it does to take the boat. But you get to sit on the boat (unless it is crowded - like the busses, standees are fairly common when it is busy). Spoodle's is awesome and to us it is worth some inconvenience to eat there. Much better than the TS at the Studios (except Brown Derby - we've never eaten there so I can't comment)

If you do plan to walk, remember that those estimated walk times are from the front of the park. You might want to plan your day so that you end up near the front of the park right before you want to leave for Spoodles.
