I've walked to dtd from SS...how's the walk from OKW compare?

When we walked this past January it took us, maybe, 15 minutes to get from SSR to the edge of OKW; that was from the boat taxi area at SSR and that was with one walking in LOTS of pain. There was a bus stop quite close to where we entered OKW.

The path to DTD from OKW starts across the canal near building 55 and follows the canal until you get near the CDS parking lot. You do have to walk the golfcart trail from the end of the bridge to the CDS parking lot, but it takes less than 15 minutes if you are in good walking condition!

Keep in mind that once you pass the pedestrian bridge that crosses the canal to SSR, the remainder of the path to OKW is unlit and gets quite dark at night. Also the maintenance carts use this path at night, so technically the path is closed to pedestrians (there is a sign that states this), but I've walked it at night and nobody has ever sayed anything.
