Can you walk from AKL/AKV to AK?

It looks like (from Google Maps) that the distance from AKL to AK is just a bit farther than the distance from BLT to MK, which is advertised as walkable.

There are no walking paths between AKL/AKV and AK. BLT has a designated walking path.

Can you? Sure. May you? Nope.
The easiest way to tell if you may walk anywhere at WDW is to discern if there are sidewalks. No sidewalks? No walking. There are a few spots that have no sidewalks but you may walk....BW over to the Hess station for instance. It's a very short distance, so no issue.
But, from AKL to AK is longer than it looks...and no sidewalks. If you tried it, you would, most likely, be stopped by Disney CMs.
You pay lower room rates at AKL, even though it is considered a 'deluxe' resort. Why?? There is no direct park access from the resort.
