Can you waitlist for two different dates at the same time?

We have a reservation for BWV for four night Easter Week. I wanted BCV so they waitlisted me for the same four nights. He asked if I wanted a second waitlist but we decided we only wanted to stay at the epcot resorts on this trip. Now I am waitlisted for BCV for the sun, mon, tue and weds. He said the reason he couldn't give me BCV is he needed either the Sun or the Weds to make it come through. So could I call back and get a waitlist for the Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs also? Does that make sense. In other words we don't care if we get in on Sun or Mon we just would like 4 night at BCV for the same number of points.

Can I do that?

Thanks!

The only current restriction is that you can only have 2 active wait lists at one time.

You can not have a waitlist for the same resort for the same day X 2 if that is what you are asking. If you waitlist for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th you can not also add a waitlist for just the 2nd and the 4th(maybe you took the 1st and the 3rd). I believe that is what you were asking:rolleyes1.

Not true. I had a waitlist for three days at THV, and another waitlist for just one of the days. Both came through. (I thought at the time that I would be using both, so there were different names on the reservations, but I ended up canceling the one day.)

Yes, I guess I am asking if I could have an active waitlist for some of the same days. But I thought the waitlists were like a collection of days and not individual days.

I have BWV Apr 4, 5, 6, 7th. Confirmed

I have waitlisted BCV Apr 4, 5, 6 & 7th.

I want to add waitlist: BCV Apr 5, 6, 7 & 8th.

So you are saying since on my first waitlist I have the BCV for the 5, 6 &7th already that I can't add a waitlist for the same resort with some of the same dates. Right?

But wait, now I am wondering if I could just take the BCV and waitlist for the one day on either side. (the 4 or the 7th) which is what he said he didn't have. But then I would only have a guaranteed BCV reservation for three nights and we want four.

Oh I am so confused.... Help!

See this is why MS annoys me. Just when I think I have it all figured out I am told something different. I was told 2 weeks ago's exactly what I said above(LOL), except I was trying to waitlist both in my name. I was also told that I could not waitlist a handicap room( for different time):confused3 something I have done several time's in the past and had it come through as a H/C room.

The guiding “rule” is that you cannot have “sequential waitlists (BVC for the 4th and 5th and a second waitlist for the 6th and 7th) other than doing that I have never seen any specific restriction beyond the 2 waitlist rule

So you should be OK

Thanks I will give it a try in the morning and see if I can waitlist for the second set of dates for BCV. My DH really wants to try that. Thanks for your help.

If I were you, I would take what is available at BCV and take two other sequential dates at BWV. (Say MT at BCV and WTh at BWV.) So in the worst case, you will have to move once. Then waitlist the W and the Sunday, and if the W comes through, then waitlist the Th and the Sunday, taking whichever comes first.

Hope that makes sense. What I'm trying to say is that single nights have worked much better for me on the waitlist.
