Just wondering if there are any restaurants in the parks that can be visited without using an admission ticket? We will be down in FL for two weeks in April and we will probably go to SeaWorld for a couple days and the beach, etc. and will want to eat out afterwards. Can you park in the resort lot and take the monorail to a restaurant without using an admission ticket?::MinnieMo

To my knowledge, no, you must buy a ticket to eat at a restaurant in any of the parks. However, there are several wonderful restaurants throughout all of the Disney Resorts (and other non-Disney hotels as well). Plus, there is Downtown Disney too. Check out the list of restaurants over at:

Hope that helps! Good luck! :)

That is correct, theme park addmission is required for all in park restaurants. They 'use to' have a dining pass that would allow you to go in just for dinner and then leave but they no longer offer that. As was mentioned there are A LOT of great restuarants within the resorts (the different hotels) that would not require park addmission that you could choose from. In my opinion some of the hotel restuarants are better than the parks.

I believe that the only (rather limited) exception to the no restaurants at the parks without admission media is the Rainforest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom's Rainforest Cafe is not "inside" the park. It is in front of the main entrance. It has a seperate entrance for access from within the park (that has turnstiles and requires a ticket and/or handstamp) but the main entrance is not in the park.

You cannot dine at a restaurant located in any one of the parks unless you have the proper admission.. You can dine at all of the restaurants located in Downtown Disney or any of the Disney Resorts, including the Boardwalk. There are lots of choices with lots of Disney flavour, that are located at the resorts, including Character Dining.

Checkout the disneyworld.com website for restaurant listings for all the resorts. There are even character meals that will give you that special bit of Disney magic.!:sunny:

Resort parking lots are reserved for the guests of that resort. They might let you park there if you have a PS for one of the resort restaurants. If you go to the parks, plan on parking in the theme park parking lot.
