Mac&cheese for a toddler? I HATE spending $4 on a small thing of mac and cheese when it's the EXACT same thing that I can get for $1 at Target.

If not, I'll probably warm it up before we leave for the parks and put it in a fugo container.

She'll be 16 months...does that matter?

Yes and no...I asked because the baby center is really for infants and toddlers. In your case, I think you can heat food for a 16 month old. I heated porridge for a 10 month old and they were okay with it. My sense is that as long as the child is still little, you'll be fine. I asked because I've read threads where people have interesting definitions of a "toddler" and a baby. There was one person who kept referring to their child as a baby, but when someone finally asked, it turned out the kid was 4.

Lol, well my 11 year old is still my baby but he'd die if I referred to him as such in public!

I'll probably bring a foogo container now that I think about it, just in case were not near the child care station when she's ready for lunch.

I think as long as the child is still breastfeeding he counts as a baby, so going by Game of Thrones that means up to age 11. :wave2:

Seriously, I went in once to use the microwave to pop some popcorn, and the CMs were all, "Do you really have a baby?" I said, "Yes, and of course I'm not giving her popcorn, I'm just making her something to drink and the popcorn is for me." And the CM's were like, "But we don't see any children with you, and the drink you are making is a rum and Coke, so we..." Then I ran out because they were being rude.

In retrospect, I never got to a serious comment, so please disregard the word "seriously" in the paragraph above.

Nice :goodvibes

If the OP is in DCA, just go out the GCH exit and use the microwave in White Water Snacks :thumbsup2
