Can you use refillable mug from May?

We have a refillable mug from May 2024. I am reading conflicting reports about whether it can be activated on our July 30th trip. Can someone clarify…..thank you!

I believe they expire 2 weeks after activation. Hopefully someone can confirm.

I stayed at Coronado last month and was told by a CM at the quick service there that the mugs can be reactivated, but you have to pay the same price as an entirely new mug. Others can confirm whether that's still true or not as CM info is inconsistent but that's what I was told.

This is correct information. Yes, you can reactivate a mug but it's the same price as getting a new one.

I heard that a refillable mug that has been microwaved or even washed in the dishwasher might not be able to be reactivated. I don't know if that is true, but I would hate to bring a mug from home, only to have it not work.
