Can you use ME just one-way?

It looks like our friends might be able, willing, and ready to pick us up from MCO for transport to WDW. But we would still need a ride back the next weekend from WDW to MCO - is it possible to use Magic Express just one way?

So, in theory, it is possible. Has anyone actually only used ME one way? Any problems?

A friend & I used it one way in May. Worked very well. Since we were flying SW we brought our luggage to the bus.

We had pre-reserved our departure and picked up our bus vouchers at guest services in the hotel lobby.
