If you've stayed there, is it a "stuffy hotel"? By that I mean, are the staff and guests as friendly as those at values? Thanks!

to both questions... you cannot use ME, and the people there are not "stuffy". They are very nice and helpful!!!

The Dolphin is a terrific resort, and not the least bit stuffy! You can not use DME though because it is not a Disney owned resort. You also can not take advantage of the DDP, or charge things to your room key. But, other than that, it's pretty much the same as a Disney resort. Of course, there are no icons all over the place, and there is no theming per se. But, you can get as much Mickey stuff as you want in the gift shop off the lobby...they carry a full compliment of Disney 'stuff'.

Not stuffy at all. We found the staff at the Swan & Dolphin to be at least as helpful & friendly as any of the Disney resorts we've stayed at.
