Can you use Disney store credit in the parks?

I made a return to my local Disney outlet from a Disneystore.com gift and got a blue plastic card as merchandise credit. I know I can only use it for merchandise, but can you use it in the stores inside the parks and resorts? The cast members were not sure.

No. Disney Store Merchandise Credits, such as the one pictured, are only valid for purchases at Disney Store locations in the United States, and may not be used for Merchandise purchases at the Disneyland Resort in California or the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Likewise, Disney Parks Merchandise Credits issued at the Disneyland Resort in California or the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida may be used at either resort, but may not be redeemed at Disney Store locations or on DisneyStore.com

no the disneystore is part of a different company than WDW stores. sorry.
