Does anyone know if you can use a CS credit for say a hot dog and a drink, or a turkey leg and drink? :confused3

I would settle for just the hot dog or Turkey Leg :cool1:

You can use it for hotdogs at Casey's at MK (Hotdog, fries, drink and brownie), MK Turkey Leg Carts over by Peco's Bill had a DDP CS credit use for Turkey leg, bag of chips and drink. I can't be certain about the hotdog cart area near the Hall of Presidents, but I think that was similiar to the turkey leg with a hotdog, chips and soda as a CS (we didn't do this so I am not certain).

Is it true what two CM's told me ? They told me that no Turkey could ever have legs that large and that they were really serving Emu bird legs ! :cool1:

I had that same discussion with my dad before my last trip. He kept trying to say they were Emu legs, My mom was telling him the are Turkey legs- They made me take a picture of the sign to show them when I got home :rotfl:

LMAO-do you know how large an Emu leg would be? they weight about 100 pounds dressed weight and are 5 feet tall!

I would imagine that they would be as large as a leg served at MK :thumbsup2

Yes, they really are turkey. I saw a show on the food channel when they did a special about the food at WDW. they interview the people who cook the turkey legs, and they said the type of turkey that they were (can't remember now though). THey said that those turkeys get up to 50-70lbs. that's why those legs have so many little bones and ligaments in them. they slow smoke/roast them for 24 hours. that's why those things are so good. especially with some BBQ sauce. I also read it somewhere in a disney trivia book.

man.. now i have to look them up :surfweb: to find out the name of the turkey... just because i hate it when i can't remember stuff. :confused3 lol

Hehe, I was going to say they are most definitely turkeys. Emu tastes much different.

Emu and Ostrich are much more beef like than poultry like as well. They are Turkey and as jsmith stated wouldn't be able to be carried around the park if they were Emu or Ostrich!

You can get both Turkey Legs and Footlong Hot Dogs at Toluca Legs in MGM. They are included on the DDP list as CS, however they don't have any desserts and another post I read stated that they give you the entree (Turkey Leg or Hotdog), a drink and a bag of chips. Not the greatest use of CS value-wise, but we may use it anyway before Fantasmic, as we are having a full TS lunch that day at Sci-Fi. So we will probably use a CS credit there, and then use a snack credit for ice cream at Hollywood Scoops right next door!

I'm more interested in eating something other than hamburgers with my CS credits. I'm somewhat pickey with what I like (and my fiance ONLY eat hamburgers with CS last time)
