can you use DDE for fantasmic dinner package

just need to know if you can use the DDE for the fantasmic dinner package. i am going to make my PS's for this upcoming trip in the next few days and i just needed to know this

The official word is no. However when we were there in January we got it at Hollywood & Vine (using just the e-mail confirmation). After we came back I read where some got it and some were refused (especially at BD and Mama Melrose's). I'm going back in May and when I made my PS I specifically asked the CM and was told no, that I was just lucky in Jan because DDE was so new for AP holders and alot of the waiters were not informed, but that they had all been informed of the new policies and it would definitely not be accepted now. She then turned around and said I could try and might get lucky again . I have Mama Melrose's scheduled and will ask, but I don't expect it will be honored this time.
