Can you use dark transfer paper on white shirts

I have waited til the last minute and have to have the shirts done for tomorrow. All I have is transfer paper for dark colors and white shirts. Will it still work ok?

It will work just fine but trim the paper as close to the design as possible!

It works really well but you will have white around the design instead of transparent. They hold up better in the wash I feel.
