Can you use "Change Reservations" on MDE?

What happens if you click "Change Reservation" on your reservation in MDE?

Does it return you to the My Reservations and Tickets screen?
or
Does it take you to the screen to make changes?

And
If you can't make changes, has it ever allowed you to make changes or has it always returned to the My Reservations page?

For me, at one point I could use it to make changes. I did many times. But starting sometime last summer that option stopped working for me. Now, every time I click on it, it just returns right back to My Reservations. Doesn't matter if the stay is 2 months away, 2 weeks away or 2 days away. When it was working I was able to make changes right up till day before arrival.

I've tried on Safari, Edge and Chrome. Same results each time

Annoying. Trying to see if there rhyme or reason. If there is any reason to call and try to get IT to look at it.

Mine works. Sometimes I get stitch ate the page if I try to go all of the way through with making a change but I can always get to the change page.

It used to return me to the reservations page on Chrome, but then I opened it with an Incognito window and it worked fine. Usually to get most of the site to work I have to use the Incognito windows.

Except now when I look at My Reservations, it shows the right resort (POFQ) on the main page, but if I click Change Reservation, it shows the previous details (Boardwalk, and the higher rate). I called and they swear it worked, but I'm not 100% confident as to which resort will be expecting me next week.

That happened to me often when I could change reservations. It was always changed correctly, even if it didn't show right on the My Reservations page.

Same thing here- I used to be able to change a resort reservation but I can't anymore and mine does the same thing- returns me to My Reservations. Maybe a call to IT would help. I thought it was just me.

Try and find--and delete (nuke, run over with your car, burn with fire)--your go (dot) com cookies. They get corrupted all the time and that's what leads to the AP and MDE and other pages suddenly refusing to render.

I have never, ever been able to get it to work for me. I've tried every method possible. I keep trying every trip even if I don't want/need to change anything just to see and nope.

I was looking at the way the link is formatted and noticed it says this, wonder if others are the same
Just hover over the Change link and at the bottom of the browser it would show what the link reads (I removed my reservation number and added spaces so it didn't turn in to a link)
I wonder if the part I put in bold is where the culprit lies somehow? Though even if I type it in manually it won't go to the Change page, it still jumps back to the My Reservation page

Like you I have been able to change reservations sometimes and not others in the past. Just this past Monday I was trying to change things around for our April trip and could not change. Had to call and it was a struggle - CM could not find the AP rate for my dates even though I could easily pull it up on MDE. So I ended the call and did it myself by double booking - booked my dates with the summer AP rate and then asap went back and deleted the other reservation. Didn't want the back and forth on my cc'd but it is in the same cycle so it's not that big a deal.

I am able to change rates and dates with ease at all the other places we book and it always amazes me how difficult a simple change can be when your dealing with Disney. Extra time on the phone and extra time on the website....

I always tell them, that is strange, I've got it in my cart right now. Every time they do something, no idea what, look again and find it. Happened time and time again. It's like they don't want to find the best rate unless you tell them to
