Can you use a Visa Gift Card to pay for dining plan?

I don't know if anyone will know this, but I am going to add the dining plan to my current reservation and I have a visa gift card I got for christmas and I was wondering if you can use this to pay for the dining plan or if it has to be an actual check/credit card?
Any info would be great, thanks
