Can you Use a PIN for AOA?

I've been wondering this too! I can't imagine this place would excluded from PINs...but you never know!!

Glad I found your post...remembered seeing it the other day, but didn't have an answer till now. I just got a PIN code yesterday for dates in September and no, AoA was not included. :( Just the 4 value resorts. We were originally booked at AoA but switched to Poly because I was afraid AoA wouldn't be included in any of the discounts since it's brand spanking new. And this PIN confirmed it.

See, I'm wondering if it isn't included yet because it's not actually open yet. I know you can book a normal room already, but if you booked with free dining right now, and something halted the opening, it may be difficult to get you into another room with the same offer. :confused3

I received a Game On pin (for a whopping 10% off) and it worked on every resort I tried (including ASMu family suites), except for AofA. :sad2:

I'm not sure. By September, Nemo and Cars should definitely be up and running...Cars is scheduled for July. This PIN was for 9/1-9/27. They shouldn't be THAT delayed, you know? I talked with a CM last summer and she said ASMu family suites were not included in any discounts the first year they were available. Don't know if that is true or not.

Either way, we decided not to stay at AoA for rack rate...what I'm paying for Poly on a discount is the same amount I was quoted for AoA. With free dining, Poly would be a couple hundred cheaper for us.

That is correct, the All-Star family suites were not available for discounts the first year they were open. We are "planning" to stay at AOA in December, but if they are blacked out for discounts, we won't book there either - we'll just wait for the next year.

I wonder why they keep playing around with this. AOA was not included with the Canada free dining code. However, it was included with last summer's bounce back. Now it can't be booked with this batch of codes.

I don't see that having anything to do with it. Last August I booked a free dining bounceback for this August at AoA no problem. The first 2 sections will already be open and they're allowing people to book. It sounds as though the beancounters just don't think they need to offer a discount at this time in order to fill up the resort due to the novelty/newness of the resort.
